The Merry Hen is now accepting pre-orders for our 2018 chick season for day-old Cream or White Legbar pullet and cockerel chicks.

2018 Pre-Order Prices are listed below. These prices are 20% less than regular spring prices and will only be honored with pre-orders placed by March 1, 2018, with deposits. After March 1, pricing will be adjusted to reflect any orders placed between March 1-May 28 that were not pre-ordered with a 10% deposit. All chicks are priced at day-olds only. Please contact us in advance for grow-out services and prices (available to pick-up customers only).

Before March 1 pre-ordering prices:

Cream Legbar Pullets each: $20
Cream Legbar Cockerels each: $16
White Legbar Pullets each: $24
White Legbar Cockerels each:$20

Prices above do not reflect shipping costs. Shipping is a flat fee for all U.S. customers in the lower 48 states only (Hawaii and Alaska not included) of $35. Shipping rates include costs of USPS Express (1-2 days depending on destination) for up to 25 chicks. All shipping orders will need to pay an additional service charge for 72 hour UniHeat pack(s) (1-2 depending on order date, and number of chicks in the box). Heat packs are a flat fee of $2.50 per pack.
